Making Flooring easy is Jerry Beades Concrete Ltd who won the Best Exterior Building Product for their Easy Roof — GRP Laminate Roof System. Jerry Beades Concrete is the only company in Ireland installing Easy Screed natural floor screed and are market leaders in the area. The company is Irish owned and use products manufactured in Ireland in the installation process. They also offer advice and expertise to architects, builders, home-owners, the underfloor heating industry and the renovation market. Ecological Building Systemswon in the Best Interior Building Product category with their Calsitherm Climate Board Refurbishment Systems. Calsitherm Climate Board is made from calcium silicate, a micro porous mineral building material with effective insulating properties: its high capillary action ensures humidity regulation and the nature of the material means that mould cannot form on its surface. Also winners in this category were SDG Acoustic & Vibration Control with their Vogl Toptec Acoustic Plaster Board with integrated Metla Support. Highly Commended in the awards were CPI Ltd with the BAUMIT External Wall Insulation System, Produkt Architectural Glazing with Postless Corner Sliding Screen System, Quest Utility Services Ltd with the Grander Water Revitalisation System, Aereco Ltd with their BXC Demand-Controlled Extract Unit, Eco Timber Frame with their Advanced Timber Frame House System and Downer International Ltd with their Engineered Tensile Fabric Structures Commended in the Awards were Elefant Gratings Ireland Ltd for their Type 05-M Stair Treads, Aereco Ltd With the Improved Demand-Controlled Hybrid Ventilation, Dimplex for their Faber “Glance” see-through glass gas fire wall divider and MTD-Solutions ltd for their MTD-6070 Decentralised Recovery Fans.
