A seminar entitled, 'Economic Outlook and Current Policy Issues Impacting on the
Housing Sector,' will be held on Tuesday, 3rd November 2009 during Plan Expo in Seminar Area 1, RDS
2.30pm – 4.15pm (Registration opens at 2.00pm)

The format will include a welcome address by Dominic Doheny, Chairman - Irish Home Builders Association, with the following speakers sharing their views on this subject:

• Hubert Fitzpatrick, Director, Housing, Planning & Development Services - Irish Home Builders Association / Construction Industry Federation

• Dermot O’Leary, Chief Economist - Goodbody Stockbrokers

• Philip Nugent, Principal Officer for Housing Policy - Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government

• Tom Phillips, Managing Director – Tom Phillips + Associates, Town Planning and Economic Consultants

The seminar will then be followed by a panel discussion including a Questions & Answers Session.
