David Corrigan Managing Director Axis Engineering David Corrigan is a Chartered Building Services Engineer with over 30 years experience in the construction industry. During his career David was a Director of Varmings and Managing Director of Homan O’Brien Associates before setting up his own M&E consulting engineering practice, Axis Engineering, a professional practice with a very strong focus on sustainable solutions to building services design and specification.

Niall Meagher Dipl.Arch B.Arch.Sc Dip.Proj.Mgmt MRIAI Director Interactive Project managers Interactive Project Managers Ltd Niall has been employed by Interactive Project Managers Ltd since 1996 and became a Director of the firm in 1999. He is a member of the Royal Institute Of the Architects of Ireland and was a Council Member and Treasurer from 2004-2005. Although qualified as an architect, Niall has specialised solely in project management since 1995. Hel has specific expertise in project management from inception to completion of complex, mixed-use, city centre projects. He is also a lecturer in Construction Contract and Project Management at UCD and DIT. |

David Petherbridge Director RKD Architects
David Petherbridge graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton St, as an architect and is a Director of RKD Architects, one of Ireland’s leading architectural practices. Based in Dublin, David has a particular expertise in the design of healthcare, commercial and retail projects and is involved in the development of new European markets for RKD. He is a member of the RIAI and sits on the Practice and Planning Committees.

Joe Burns BE CEng, MIEI, MIStructE Director Arup Consulting Engineers
Joe Burns is a chartered structural engineer and Director of Arup Consulting Engineers. A graduate of NUI Galway, Joe joined Arup in 1989 and has since gained extensive experience in all aspects of civil and structural engineering design on a wide variety of projects, including commercial, industrial and retail develiopments. He has particular experience in the design of large complex facilities where recent clients include Trinity College, NUIG, RDS, Wyeth Medica, Hewlett Packard, Guinness, Baileys and Independent Newspapers.

David Stanley Construction Director PJ Hegarty
David is an MBA and civil engineer with 35 years experience in the industry. He has spent 30 years working with PJ Hegarty where he has been involved in all manner of projects. He is currently Construction Director with the company and is based in PJ Hegarty’s Head Office in Dublin.

Mark McCauley Director Building Materials Federation IBEC
The Building Materials Federation (BMF) is a business sector within IBEC,the Irish Business & Employers Federation. The BMF represents manufacturers and importers of building materials in Ireland. Within BMF there are a range of sub-associations for products such as cement, concrete, paint, plastic pipes, insulation materials, etc. The BMF participates on a number of national bodies such as the Building Regulations Advisory Board, the Irish Agrement Board, and the Construction Industry Council.

Kevin O’Rourke Head SEI Energy Demand Programmes
Kevin O’Rourke heads SEI’s Energy Demand Programmes, focused on implementing key actions in the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan. Previously he was Head of Built Environment at SEI, covering programmes for building energy research, development and demonstration; information, support and promotion to the market; and policy advice and support to government. Most of his career has been in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and environmental protection.
